Resolutions on NYC Council Endorsements

UNION RESOLUTIONS

WHEREAS, the UFT will endorse 23 NYC Council candidates in April 2023;

WHEREAS, the 2023 local elections in New York City require all 51 sitting City Council members to run for election due to redistricting; and

WHEREAS, City Council candidates seeking to represent City Council Districts 28, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 31, 35, 38, 40, and 47, submitted our UFT City Council candidate questionnaire; and

RESOLVED, that the UFT endorses…Justin Brannan to be the next City Council Member(s) to represent their respective districts.
